Felting needles come in a variety
of sizes. We sell the felting needle that we like to use--the 38 gauge
star needle. This is our favorite with more edges for felting,
leaving the least visible holes in your finished project.

The star blade has four edges with
barbs running up the shaft. The barbs are what felts the fibers
together.
